We plan research and interpret results to understand users, and we test solutions to validate assumptions and ideas.
We build empathy: we use a number of proven methods that allow us to learn about the users’ context in order to understand their needs; we collect inspiration.
We draw conclusions: we analyze and interpret the results of the research activities; we transform them into design guidelines (the design brief).
We test and improve solutions: we always return to the user to test ideas and collect even more information and inspiration.
Design Research is an integral part of the Service Design process.
